Implementing a systematic prevention program into society is the only way to ensure that all children, regardless of their sex, abilities, social, political, economic, or financial situations, have access to the fundamental tools and knowledge that allow them to make informed decisions aligned with their values, lead healthy lives, and overcome adversities.

HARTS mission is to conduct reviews of the existing literature on nutrition, CPR training, and mental and physical health promotion curricula before starting to do more comprehensive analysis of how to design an culturally competent health literacy curriculum for K-12 education in Iceland.
