Our mission is to support the health, well-being, and participation of neurodivergent people by empowering individuals and shaping environments that enable sustainable success.

 

HARTS works at the intersection of neurodiversity, accessibility, health education, and technology, supporting individuals, families, schools, and organizations through evidence-informed guidance, practical strategies, and inclusive design across education and work.

Courses

Neurodivergent Students in the Education System

This course consists of two lectures and discussions focusing on how best to support neurodivergent students in school. Participants will gain access to slides, videos, and a Notion template after the first lecture, and will have 3 weeks to apply the strategies covered. Afterwards, participants will meet again in person to receive further guidance, training, and support in using the techniques and strategies introduced during the course. The course is intended for students, parents, professionals, and others interested in the subject of neurodivergent students in the education system, as well as practical tools and strategies they can use.

Founder & CEO

Jóhanna is an accessibility specialist, instructional designer, and curriculum developer with a BA in Education Sciences and Health Promotion from the University of Florida. She specializes in creating inclusive and accessible learning environments, drawing on both academic expertise and personal experience to design solutions that support diverse learners in the education system.
